Teapot - Spruce Knob

Whenever people ask Sarah what is her (my) favorite thing to make - I don't hesitate to say a teapot. I love making teapots because it brings together so many parts of the artistry of pottery: in has to be lightweight, a beautiful form, pour well, and have a pleasing handle and lid. I also love the art of tea - so making teapots is a particular joy.

Each Spruce Knob glazed teapot has a deep enough lid that you do not need to hold the lid while pouring the tea. And the handle has our signature thumb hold making it comfortable and easy to use.

   Spruce Knob is one of four of our Signature Glazes.  It contains a rich copper green and turquoise matte finish, with an original design of copper and black textured glaze dancing over speckled stoneware.
